Located between Park Slope and Boerum Hill, this expansive two-bedroom co-op is being thoughtfully reimagined for the first time since it was originally built. The client's vision is a design-forward home with a moodier, more distinctive point of view—something that feels elevated, unexpected, and deeply personal.
The renovation centers around livability and craftsmanship, with every detail carefully considered. The kitchen is being expanded to more than double its original footprint, creating a true focal point for the home. Custom maple slab cabinetry, quartzite countertops, and integrated storage solutions bring both warmth and functionality to the space.
Throughout the apartment, we are introducing white oak flooring, 84-inch interior doors, and refined brass finishes to create a cohesive material palette. The bathroom is being transformed from a traditional tub layout into a spacious walk-in shower, maximizing both comfort and usability.
Architectural details include flush baseboards with shadow gaps, concealed ceiling-mounted curtain tracks, and fully customized built-in closets designed to maximize storage without compromising aesthetics. The result will be a sophisticated, highly functional home that feels both contemporary and enduring.
