A historic Harlem townhouse reimagined as a warm, highly functional single-family home. Spanning over 6,000 square feet across six levels, the project balances the preservation of original architectural character with a modern layout designed around the rhythms of contemporary family life. The program includes six bedrooms, seven full bathrooms, a private gym, home office, playroom, multiple outdoor terraces, and a full-floor primary suite.

Materiality serves as the foundation of the design. White oak flooring and custom millwork create continuity throughout the home, while richly veined natural stone, aged brass accents, and layered lighting bring depth, warmth, and permanence to each space. Every floor is thoughtfully programmed to support daily life, from a chef's kitchen opening directly onto the garden to dedicated children's and guest levels, wellness spaces, and expansive outdoor entertaining areas.

The result is a home that feels both grand and intimate—honoring the history of the townhouse while creating a refined, livable environment designed to evolve beautifully over time.
