I believe great design begins with understanding how someone truly lives. Every project starts with the routines, habits, and needs of the people who call a space home, because the most beautiful interiors are the ones that function effortlessly for the lives lived within them.

My work is deeply rooted in materiality. From the species of wood used in custom millwork to the veining of a stone slab, the finish of a metal, or the opacity of a light fixture, I believe materials are what give a space its depth, warmth, and sense of permanence. Thoughtful material selections create interiors that feel layered, lived-in, and enduring rather than simply decorated.

Working primarily within New York's often awkward, challenging, and beloved residential spaces, I enjoy uncovering potential where others see limitations. Through careful planning, custom details, and a focus on livability, I transform apartments and homes into tranquil, highly functional environments that feel deeply personal to the people who live there.

Each project is guided by two core principles: function and materiality. The result is a home that not only looks beautiful, but supports everyday life with ease, comfort, and intention.
